The Greatest Discovery

One of the greatest day’s of my life was the day that I discovered that God lives in me. God will express through me if  my personal self, the human will, steps aside and let’s the Creator within rule my kingdom. My only limitations are those that I created through forgetfulness of who I am. God’s child, as we all are. The process of stepping out on faith can be daunting at times. We get caught up living in our comfort zone, fear of failure will try to hold me prisoner to my lower self and make me feel guilty and foolish about my dreams and desires. Old habits come up to take back control of my consciousness. I have to stand guard at the doorway of my mind and not allow anything less than the One presence and power of God to dwell in my mind. There is a lot of spiritual growth required to purify my heart. Jesus who demonstrated the Christ consciousness better than any other character in the bible, was known as” the wayshower” He would say” follow me.” Also He said,”These things I do you shall do also and even greater than these.” Thank you Father Mother God, for this awareness.

A different way to view the youth of this generation

Usually when we talk today about our teens and young adults, we get different view points, a lot of it is negative and maybe rightly so. In Chicago alone we hear on television, from the news channels, in newspapers, the internet, all remind and reinforce in our minds the crimes committed by our young people. Every now and then we will read about or see on the news some good things about our youth. However most of it is bad news. After murders we have marches in the communities, we have organizations at churches and community centers talking about how to stop what  is happening . Police seem unable to stop  the violence and a lot of people have given up saying” that’s just the way it is.” First of all I want to say that their are more teens and young adult’s doing good and positive things that we will never read or hear about . I believe from a spiritual standpoint in order to change the culture of the things that appear to be happening on a daily basis is each one of us as people must change the way we view and see our youth from within our heart. Regardless of  what the appearances show us, as  a nation we must behold the  Christ that is within them just as the Christ is within us. We have to behold the truth of who they are, God’s children expressing according to their own consciousness. Our job is to plant the seeds of truth silently with our thoughts, and allow that seed to grow into universal consciousness and dwell in the consciousness of our youth. Not only our thought’s, but our words, our feelings, our actions, and reactions, must all be on one accord. The truth is, in order to change our young people we must change ourselves. All of our children are extensions of us. Plant seeds of love instead of hate, peace in place of war, patients instead of intolerance. All that take place on the earth plane starts within each one of us, individually and collectively.Matthew 19:26 states”But Jesus said unto them,With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

I read the Bible because it is history; it is also prophecy. We all can profit from both; we draw important conclusions from the account it gives of a people’s past experience, and we are able to steer our course in life more clearly in the light of its prophetic utterances.

But the Bible is neither so much of the past nor of the future, as it is of the present. It is the Book of the hour. The experiences it records are primarily those of the soul life of humanity at large, and of every person in particular. It is an allegory true of all people.

The  Bible yields something when taken literally; more when read allegorically; most when understood symbolically. In its literal aspect it is often meaningless, and even absurd. I believe it is so intended. By this device the earnest seeker is sooner or later inevitably led on into a non-literal quest, in which direction alone the deeper soul values are to be found.

This method of hiding truths is common to all Sacred Scriptures of the world, to many of the most esoteric works, and to some literary productions in which an Initiate has chosen to embody cryptic signatures for the benefit of those who have the grace to find them.

With  Love being my greatest challenge in Life, I’ve found through reading the Bible, there is one greater; that is Understanding!

Nothing Lasts Forever!

Revealing the Spiritual Meaning of Bible Scripture

Appreciate every minute that you have with your loved ones because everything will come to an end one day.  That’s one of the only down sides of life is that nothing lasts forever.  In life you don’t really think about it until the person has moved on to a better place.  The main reason I bring this up is because theirs so much hate in the world sometimes between families and friends.  Life is too short to argue 24 7 enjoy life and get along with everyone you know.  Don’t wait until its to late because it will tear you up mentally.

“The kingdom of God does not come with careful observation, nor will people say, Here it is”, or “There it is”, because the kingdom of God is within you.”    LUKE 17:20-21

What is Easter?

Christians believe, according to Scripture, that Jesus came back to life, or was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter. Through his death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in him, eternal life in Christ Jesus.

What is Passover

The eight-day festival of Passover is celebrated in the early spring, from the 15th through the 22nd of the Hebrew month of Nissan. It commemorates the emancipation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt. And, by after the rituals of Passover, we have the ability to relive and experience the true freedom that our ancestors gained.
